Bring a Buddy FISHING DERBY @ Camp Bromelsick
July 27th 9am – 9pm
Cubs and Webelos, invite 3 buddies to join us for a day of Cub Scout fun! Fishing, friends, activities, campfire, hot dog roast and cracker-barrel! Scouts/Boys need to be accompanied by leaders and/or parent. Fishing poles and dinner provided. Be Prepared! All boys/leaders bring a sack lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellant, and wear a hat. Some might like something to sit on.
Click here for details that will be of help to parents of Cub Scouts and Webelos planning to attend. The invitation/postcard boys can give their friends so they can join us for the event. A tentative schedule for the day/weekend parents and leaders will find helpful when trying to plan the day. Note that Webelos will arrive earlier than 9am and Cub Scouts will head home earlier than 9pm.
Leaders we want to make sure we have adiquate staff and dinner supplies. Please email me in the next week if your unit is participating and if possible, an estimated number of boys planning to come.
And one last plug for Jim Peterson's (ASM/COR T-55, UC and spear-header of this activity) call for volunteers. Please contact him (kupete @ku.edu) if you're available to help with elements of the day.
